Here's Why We Are Effective

Growth Mindset Activation

Your child will understand their learning abilities and embrace growth mindset ideologies to discover their "wow" moment. The will develop a passion for learning through the concept of growth mindset and positive affirmations.

Goal Mastery

Your children will positively flourish, understand, and accept that with perseverance and practice, along with high-quality strategic interventions, they will master all goals asked of them.

Monthly Meetings

Once a month, Deputy Whiteman Inclusive Academy (DWIA) will host 4P meetings: "Persevere in Positive Parenting and Partnership," for parents to positively communicate and network for a strong learning community.

Environment

The academy's environment creates a sense of peace and serenity to allow the brain to function at its full potential.

Creating Values

Your children will be given growth and learning opportunities that they will come to value in their education.

Family Inclusive

All families will share their child's educational story with an experienced educational consultant to discuss present levels of academic achievement and vehicles for goals mastery through tutoring sessions.

Capitalize on Collaboration

DWIA staff and parents will become one team for common goals. "Together, we are a strong tower." Parents will understand the true meaning of "being a cloud in their child's rainbow." They will understand their child's disability or slow processing of information and the techniques to support their learning

Why us

Our Core Values

I believe in the power of prayer and allowing God to lead my path. I've also studied the brain and growth mindset versus fixed mindset. When children are taught to embrace the power of yet and embrace their individual ability, they walk in the spirit of excellence and flourish. I believe and value that all children can learn with specially designed instruction, appropriate goals and objectives, accommodations, and modifications.

DWIA serves successors in achieving their full potential. We will serve in a Christian-based therapeutic environment with specially designed academic programs and curriculum for children with individual educational needs. Our focus is to provide special educational consulting for families with the intent of building empowerment. We will provide individual tutoring sessions based on needs and improve your child's self-confidence and work output with the implementation of growth mindset, specially designed instruction (SDIs), and ongoing academic support. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and growth-focused environment inspiring success in children with individual academic needs.

What The Parents Say

Experts in Giving Your Children a Growth Mindset

This academy is an excellent resource for families in this locale with children with "special abilities". Each student receives one-on-one, personal/individualized instruction. Mrs. Whiteman and her assistant have great teaching skills/strategies and they are so loving, caring and patient with their students. My daughter enjoys going to this academy and is showing significant progress after only a couple of weeks of attendance.

My daughter, Destiny Maney started about 3 months ago. Since she started, she has been making eye contact and asking direct questions, she is reading out loud and answering questions out loud. She is improving her social skills with new people that she has never seen or has not seen in a while. And a little bit of background on Destiny. She is high-functioning Autistic. She has major sensory issues. Eye contact being one of the major ones, loud noises, new people, change of routine, emotional setbacks because she does not know how to express herself at times. she has been in speech since she was in Pre-K and also in OT as well. Destiny had open heart surgery two years ago and has made a tremendous comeback with growth and personality and just her overall self. I can not say enough about this Academy. Mrs. Whiteman is like Destiny's other Mom and she will tell you that she is. I would 10,000 times recommend you bring your children here. They are truly loving and treat you with love, honesty and respect. I could go on and on. We love this Academy and we love the Whiteman's!!!
